BUS PARTS FOR SALE
The Rockford Mass Transit District (RMTD) is accepting sealed bids for the sale of 2 skids of Bus Parts. All parts are new. All parts are sold as is, where is with no warranty expressed or implied. Bidder is responsible for all cost of shipping parts.
Each skid will be sold to the highest bidder for that individual skid. If there is a tie, the skid will go to the tied bid which was received first.
Skid 1 Various parts for the International 3200 series bus;
Skid 2 Various parts for the Ford Eldorado E-406 series bus.
Call Lawrence Tennial, Maintenance Manager, (815) 961-2240, to inspect parts, receive skid content lists, or for bid information.
Send bids to: RMTD, 520 Mulberry Street, Rockford, IL 61101. Make sure to write “BID FOR NEW PARTS” on envelope.
Bids are due by 2:00 PM local time, Wednesday, March 1, 2017. At that time, the bids will be opened and publicly read aloud in the RMTD administrative office at the address above.
