2000 Thomas School Bus BUS. 8.3 Cummins. Diesel engine. Alison automatic transmission. Starts runs and drives very well. 65mph tilt and cruise. Approximately 77" interior heigh and 38-40' in length. Has engine issue. Sold for parts or project. Loses oil from blow-by tube underneath. At full highway speed it loses approximately 2 quarts per hour. At 35mph or less, it does not seem to lose oil. No other known issues. Feel free to come check the bus out, and bring your favorite diesel mechanic along for extra confidence. SEE VIDEO

Air brakes. 100 Gallon fuel tank. Mileage 103,837. Sold as is. It is recommended that the vehicle be inspected before bid is placed. Vehicle runs and drives. Being removed from fleet due to age and has been replaced. Bus has been used as a spare for two years. Front leaf spring and rear air suspension. Cruise control and high idle (high idle switch is disconnected). Fuel gauge may be inaccurate. 11R 22.5 Tires. Front tires 13/32nd, year of manufacture 2018, rear tires are re-treads 6/32nd year of manufacture 2015/2016. Rear suspension air bags leak. Transmission pan/PTO cover gaskets/cooler lines have minor leak. Minor oil leaks on engine. Power steering hose/pump has minor leaks. Front shock absorber is leaking. Driver’s seat cover and cushion are torn. Recommend bringing a cushion for the ride home. Batteries (2X 8D) needs replaced, however it will jump start and charge. Ceiling height is 78 inches (measured from floor to center of ceiling). There are exposed screw holes and wires in the dash and interior due to equipment removal. Seats are molded. Child pick up/stop arm lights/function have been disabled. Road governor speed reset to 80mph. School bus decals removed or painted over.
