2009 Ford E450 15 Passenger school bus with a working wheelchair lift, A/C, Diesel engine that cranks, runs and fair tires. The bus has an electrical drain to it. you must disconnect the batteries to keep them from losing their charge if it sits for any length of time. We have not tried to diagnose the problem.

Hours 38,869 1998 Thomasville bus Modified to a Command Post. Dimensions 8’ wide, 37’ long, 12’ height. Bus was converted from a School bus to a Command post by Matthews Specialty Vehicle in Greensboro, NC in May 2004. Records on hand indicate Caterpillar 6.6L, L6 Diesel engine, Allison automatic transmission. Vehicle is white paint with blue and red vinyl striping and the wording “Mobile Command Post” decals however “Harnett County” has been removed and impressions remain. Vehicle was taken out of service 8/29/2017 due to upgrading. Vehicle has 4 functional areas 1. Driver/operator with master switch panel, breakers, Back-up camera and JVC stereo, 2. Cabinets and counter space with 4 work stations, 3. Galley w/ fridge, coffee maker, bathroom with sink and toilet, Communications/Technology cabinet w/ Tellular Conference phone system and Motosat/Nomad TV Satellite controller, as well this area contains a Plans review table and drawers to hold plotter size paper, 4. Large seating area used Command area with center table, Flat Screen TV and small cabinet area. All mobile radios and associated cables have been removed from the vehicle with the exception of the antennas and coax, there are approximately 10 antenna runs to the roof line left in place. The vehicle has an upper observation deck above the rear of the vehicle with folding railings. The bus runs good used it as needed up until taken out of service. Mileage will go up very little over duration of sale to keep everything from settling and going bad, cranks right up during warmer months, in the winter it does struggle but we leave it hooked up to a 50 amp shore line for further assistance. Exterior has minor dents, scratches, no cracked glass, and good tire condition. Interior is in good shape with AC climate control, tilt steering, power steering, JVC AM/FM CD.
