2006 Freightliner FS65 INCOMPLETE CHASSIS, 6.4L L6 DIESEL.
72-passenger Freightliner Thomas Built FS65 school bus. Mercedes MBE906 diesel engine. Removed from service February 2021. Vehicle maintained every 20 days. Current operational status is UNKNOWN. Allison 2500 series automatic transmission is operable. Vehicle is yellow in color with minor dents, scratches, and dings. Windows are present with no cracks. Tire tread is low. Decals have been sprayed over. Vinyl seats are blue in color and dirty. Vehicle is NOT equipped with air conditioning.
NOTE: All but six student seats have been removed from the bus. Before being placed out of service, engine had heavy exhaust smoke. Possible turbocharger failure or other engine issue may exist. Rear differential is noisy. Bus will need to be towed.
