Ford E-350 Super Duty
Long Beach, NY
Engine: Ford 5.4 L SOHC Triton V-8
This bus was originally a handicap shuttle bus for the State of Connecticut. New brake calipers and alternator were installed after it was purchased last year from it\'s second owner. First owner was State of CT which regularly maintained the vehicle. Second owner had plans for a business but didn\'t continue with it. The tires are still in good shape however it would be wise to replace them if the vehicle were intended for cross country trips. We purchased the vehicle last year with plans to transform it into an RV however the space, time, and resources aren\'t shaping out for us and we\'re looking to downsize.
The engine runs beautifully. The rear AC works great. Heat works in the front, but haven\'t tested the rear heater. Overall we loved the look and size of the bus and hopefully someone else can see the potential that we saw.
Length: Just over 20\' bumper to bumper
Inside standing height: 6\'
-New brake calipers
-Wooden floor was laid on top of wooden joists. In between joists we insulated with sheep wool. The wood is low VOC Oak purchased from Lowes. Can be used as a finish wood or finished wood or laminate can be laid on top.
-Power switches up front are in working order. One of the switches connects to where the wheelchair lift once was. This can be used to power something new and creative.
-Drivers seat is VERY comfortable and all mechanics on it work smoothly
-Rear bumper must have been hit once upon a time as it is lodged in the fiberglass. Expert help can most likely dislodge it
-Electronics and wire compartment needs a new lock as seen in photos
