The New Jersey Transit Corporation (NJ TRANSIT) is soliciting offers to purchase Thirteen (13) 2014-2016 Ford E-450 paratransit vehicles (buses 2223, 2244, 2245, 2246, 2256, 3076, 3083, 3084, 3085, 3087, 3089, 3090, 3091).
These vehicle capacities are listed below, 5.7L gasoline engine, and equipped with Braun Millennium 2 automatic bus wheelchair lifts.
These vehicles are missing their catalytic converters. Vehicles that were running (at the time they were transported to the current lot location) are noted below.
These vehicles have reached the end of their useful life and are being retired from service.
Towing will be required to remove them from the property.
The Thirteen (13) vehicles will be sold in “as is” “where is” condition and in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Solicitation.
If a third party is picking up material, we are not responsible for lost material. ***
Due to liability issues, the bid winner will be REQUIRED to TOW/FLATBED the vehicles from the lot.
No prep- work, mechanical or otherwise, except for tow purposes, will be allowed
