  I am currently converting an 1981 MCI-8, 40ft bus. It has a tired 8v71 that is leaking oil and smokes some. I am looking to replace the motor or rebuild this one before paint is applied. Looking for an 6v92, 8v71, or 8v92 that will fit in this bus. Most my funds are wrapped up in the conversion, I do have a 1977 19ft Glasply boat w a cuddy cabin that I would consider trading for a good running motor.   For sale here is a great running Detroit Diesel 12.7 Series 60 Engine with only 420,676 total miles. The bus it is coming out of is a 1999 MCI 102DL3 Unit #52342. The Engine s/n is 06R0509399, it is a type #6067-MK28, MCI p/n 8L-1-917. We removed it only to fulfull a contract order for a bus we sold that required a remanufactured engine with a full warranty - there is absolutely nothing wrong with it! This engine has been checked over by the guys at C&J Bus Repair in Bloomington MN, which is an authorized MCI Service and Warranty Center. It runs great, no smoke or leaks and is ready to be put into your coach today. We are only minutes from the Minneapolis/St Paul International Airport and the Mall of America.
