2010 Thomas Transit Bus

2010 Thomas Transit CNG Powered Bus Model 130YN W/ Wheelchair Lift.

The transferring department indicates that this unit is "starting to lose power". The cause of the loss of power issue has not been diagnosed so there is no idea what is causing the problem, and there is no idea what will need to be repaired or any estimated cost for the repair. It was also reported that the batteries are new (see photos).

The wheelchair lift worked properly to the extent it could be tested. The bus is parked near a bollard which blocks the access door from opening fully. The lift started to unfold until the door got in the way. It folded back up properly. The air conditioning system was blowing cold air while the bus was running while photos were taken.

There are scrapes, dings, dents and paint scratches.

It is strongly suggested that out of state bidders do not plan on driving the bus to their location but should have the bus transported, and that the cost associated with transportation be considered before placing any bids. It is also suggested that the bus be thoroughly inspected and repaired if needed before it is placed into service.

Also, this bus was used to shuttle people around campus and was never driven at highway speeds for any length of time.

Pick up of items MUST be completed by 4:00 PM. We will not pick, pack, or ship.
