1972 GilligMileage: 0$20,000.00Baldwin, LA1972 Gillig, believed to be one of only four aluminum Gilligs ever manufactured. Has a 335 Cummins and a 10 spd. Fuller with live tandem rears on Neway air ride. Gets 7-7.5 mpg. Air ride front axle. Ross power steering. Wheelbase is 240", turns much tighter than other 40' buses. Conversion was done in the early 80's and is still in very nice shape. Sofa and dinette in the front. Full galley with 3 burner stove, two sinks, Dometic two way fridge, microwave, and Splendide combo washer/dryer. Full bathroom with standup shower. In the hallway there are bunkbeds on one side and a huge closet on the other. Back bedroom has twin beds and two bunks that fold down from the ceiling. New pex fresh water plumbing throughout with new Shurflo pump. New Atwood on demand water heater. Three rooftop AC's, bedroom has a new 13.5K BTU Coleman Mach 8 with heat pump, galley has new 15K BTU Coleman Mach 8 with heat pump, living area has older Duo Therm that still works fine. Generator is either 12.5KW or 15KW, I'm really not sure, powered by a Perkins 4108, unknown hours but runs like a top. 70 gal. fresh water, 95 gal. grey/black water, 75 gal. diesel. Hydraulic leveling jacks on all four corners. The bus is not perfect, it needs a little work here and there, but it's a very nice bus. Very unique, turns lots of heads.
