MCI MCI Land Yacht
I will open my listing with this.
The first choice in a Motor Home needs to be the overall reliability of it’s short and long distance transport capability. The Bones of your Coach. After all if you can’t get from point A to point B....... the Extra Decoration and Fluff, means no more than a comfortable environment to rest in while you wait for the help somewhere on the road.
The Bus Type that you are considering was constructed so well with so much reliability that Grey Hound Bus bought out MCI and used these very same buses for their national transportation. Think about that for just a minute, Grey Hound’s Reputation and Income depends on getting people, trouble free, from point A to Point B and they chose this one. So you can feel confident in my claim of Dependability. From day 1, this Coach came off of the assembly line as the exact same Coach as they drove, but instead, Then it was Very Professionally Converted to a High Quality Custom Touring Coach.
The Motor is a V8 Detroit Diesel........ The Detroit Motor Has a Reputation of Getting up to as many as 500,000 Miles, before having a rebuildI am told that this motor was completely gone through just a few 1000 miles ago. I’m sure that it probably didn’t need it but that is a Good Thing To Have Somebody Do Anyway.
Recently I had a New Clutch installed and while they were replacing the clutch I also had them do a complete valve job since it was in the shop anyway. That is about as good as you could ask for work done on a motor.
This is the very same motor that carried most of our freight across our country, in fact the military uses this in many of their vehicles. All of the above declares many years of reliability and dependability of these motors....... Not from me but from Large Successful Industries that have placed their own confidence for a continuous day in and day out reliability. Now I invite you to try and find another coach out there in this price range that can measure up to this one.
The Transmission is a 4 Speed Manual...... They too are considered Bullet Proof. That is as long as you don’t slip them excessively as is the same with any manual clutch car. If you do need to replace them they are easier for a diesel shop and a fraction of the cost of an automatic transmission of any size or brand of Coach. I paid $1,000 total labour for this one (that was just for the Clutch labour excluding parts and excluding the Valve Job.
This is what the Bones are in this Coach..... If you would like this kind of basic dependability and road security, I invite you to read on...... There is so much more to this Coach all of which were professionally Designed and Installed Specifically for the, Comfort, Convenience andOver all Pleasure of Your Travels. Everything is also, Very High Quality so it Lasts and Lasts........ Example, there is no such thing as a Roof Leak in these Coaches, you don’t even think about it, there is no yearly sealing to do. This Coach has all Aluminium and Stainless Steel Skin.<
There is a lot to this Coach, so bear with me and I will take you through it all, well I should say a large portion of it, it’s hard to remember it all...... as you will see, You will never come across a Coach like this again.

This Coach has Everything but a Home Address, As you can see in the Front View Photo, it Even Has A Name, La Casa. It does have a Door Bell, Driver to Rear Bedroom Intercom, Stereos, DVDs, Surround Sound, Satellite TVs, 12,000 Watt Onan Generator, 4 Air Conditioning Units, Mini Bar with Ice Maker........ Gentle Use ,The gentleman that my father purchased it from was 89 years old, He and his wife toured the entire USA in it and then had it completely rebuilt shortly before my father purchased it, so if you are wondering how it was treated or if you will be able to drive it.... I doubt that you are 89. It only requires a regular car drivers license to drive.
When I flew up to drive it home from Oregon I had no idea how to operate everything. I didn\'t learn until I reached Reno Nevada that it even had a Jake Brake...... What a wonderful Brake to have!
This Coach drove and road like a Dream..... It was a very Fun and Ex
